Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

OpsAtlas is an AI-powered operational diagnostic and Ride-Along platform for field service companies. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit opsatlas.ai, submit an early access or Ride-Along request, or participate in a consent-gated Ride-Along session, how we use it, and what rights you have over your data.

We take privacy seriously. We collect only what we need, we don't sell your data, and we give you clear ways to access or delete it.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

When you submit an early access request, join our waitlist, or request a Ride-Along, we collect:

  • Full name
  • Business email address
  • Company name
  • Industry (e.g., commercial HVAC, security/fire alarm, IT field services)
  • Employee count (approximate size of your organization)
  • Use case (how you plan to use OpsAtlas)
  • Plan type interest (which tier you're considering)
  • Ride-Along details such as your role, phone number if provided, and the process you want observed

Ride-Along Session Information

Ride-Along sessions are consent-gated. The person sharing controls what is visible, can pause or stop at any point, and must explicitly grant browser permissions before screen sharing or microphone access begins.

The current Ride-Along session tool is browser-based. It can show a shared screen locally, collect transcript notes where browser speech recognition is available, and let the facilitator record observed steps, timings, decisions, exceptions, and handoffs. The current public tool does not store raw screen frames or video recordings on our servers.

When optional browser speech transcription is enabled, your browser's speech-recognition service (e.g., Google in Chrome) may process microphone audio on its own servers to return transcript text; OpsAtlas does not control that vendor processing and does not store raw microphone audio in the current public Ride-Along tool.

Ride-Along session data

Ride-Along session data. When you participate in a Ride-Along session, and only after you complete the consent steps, we store: the process and company context you provide, your observation notes and timeline entries, transcript text (typed by you or produced by optional browser transcription), your consent acknowledgments with timestamps, and the resulting Process Record and verdict documents. We do not record or store your screen video, screenshots, or audio. Session data is accessible only to OpsAtlas operators preparing your verdict, is used to produce AI-assisted drafts that a human reviews before anything is sent to you, and will be deleted on request.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referring URL
  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Date and time of visit

This data is collected via standard web server logs and analytics tools. It is used in aggregate to understand how visitors interact with our site.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

  1. Validate product-market fit — understand which industries and use cases OpsAtlas should prioritize
  2. Manage our waitlist — track early access applicants and prioritize onboarding
  3. Communicate with you — send updates about OpsAtlas availability, launch timing, and relevant announcements
  4. Improve the product — use aggregate insights from form responses to guide product development
  5. Respond to inquiries — reply to any questions or follow-ups you send us

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted database platform with servers located in the United States. Supabase implements industry-standard security practices including encryption at rest and in transit.

OpsAtlas does not currently process payments directly on the site. Stripe payment links, where present, redirect to Stripe's own platform. Any payment data you enter on Stripe is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy, not this one.

5. Third-Party Services

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as it is relevant to operating OpsAtlas and maintaining our waitlist — typically until the product launches and you either become a customer or request deletion.

If OpsAtlas is discontinued, we will delete all personal data within 90 days of that decision.

You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).
